EZ-Liner Pallet Units Take the
Small Government Market By Storm
The data is in: For counties, airports and municipalities, there‘s nothing like an EZ-Liner airless pallet unit.

With yet another year of record-setting pickup striper sales, EZ-Liner has penetrated the small government market to an unprecedented extent. “Our pickup striper sales have averaged 38% growth over the last five years,” says Sales Manager Greg Steggerda. “The bulk of these sales are in the municipal and county markets.

“We thought we might see a slow-down in sales this year due to increased competition, but we’ve noticed no impact on sales at all. In fact, we seem to be experiencing some benefits from competitor marketing, since we compare favorably to any pickup striper out there.”

EZ-Liner is currently acknowledged even by competing manufacturers as the dominant player in the intermediate market, and at least two are considering engineering changes for the upcoming year designed to make their units look more like EZ-Liner’s pickup striper.

The EZ-Liner pickup striper is ideal for many contractors and government agencies because of its relatively low cost, high productivity, minimal maintenance and ease of use. “For less than $25,000 you can buy a unit that can mobilize at highway speeds, put down seven or eight miles of continuous line without reloading, and paint at speeds up to 15 miles an hour, with one or two operators. That’s quite a package,” Greg says.

Showing promise of equal success is EZ-Liner’s palletized stencil unit. Designed specifically for stencil and legend painting, this unit features a large stencil rack and wand type spray guns with hose reels. “It’s the perfect companion to any striper, because it allows the striping crew to focus on striping, not stenciling,” Greg says. “With our stencil unit, one person can easily take care of the legend marking for a fair-sized city or county.”

This allows government entities to contract more advantageously for striping, or be more efficient in marking their own roads and streets.

“Both units fit easily into the bed of a standard pickup. The in-bed design minimizes the stress on both the unit and pickup that you get with the bouncing of tow-behind units,” Greg says. “And the airless systems maximize the paint payload you can carry on the system.”
